Creative Pursuits Studio is an educational and artistic space for students of all genres, skill levels and abilities. It is a place for each individual to expand their horizons and reach their full artistic potential. Students will grow quickly while being exposed to workshops, classes and private lessons all centered on the student's individual needs.
Stephanie Sullivan Violin Instructor

Stephanie Sullivan is a graduate of the Master’s Degree Program in Music Performance at the University of Delaware, where she studied with renowned violinist Xiang Gao. Prior to her education in Delaware, she was a student of Philip Tietze at West Virginia University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance with a minor in French. She currently serves as an adjunct professor of violin and viola at Elizabethtown College. Prior to teaching at Elizabethtown, Stephanie taught at the Newark Performing Arts School, the Delaware Governor’s School, University of Delaware as graduate assistant, and Lititz Academy of Music. Stephanie is proud to be a part of the arts community in Lancaster, where she performs frequently with the Fulton Theater Pit Orchestra, the Lancaster Symphony, Allegro Chamber Orchestra, the praise team at Manor Church. acoustic duo Steel and Bow with guitarist/vocalist Scott Parmer, and Trio Caprice with fellow artists Sara Male and Debra Ronning.
Stephanie's teaching is designed to offer a comprehensive approach for serious violin students who are seeking to improve their skills and grow as artists. Stephanie’s approach will give needed instruction to students who are looking to improve their scores in competitions, audition for colleges or orchestras, or simply foster their talents for the joy of playing music. Various non-classical styles (i.e. jazz, rock, and bluegrass) are also explored and implemented if the student so chooses.
